Senior Investigator McNary is a 30-year veteran of law enforcement in Los Angeles County. His first 11 years were with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. He has been an investigator with the District Attorney’s Office since 1999. Senior Investigator McNary is currently assigned to the Cyber Crime Investigations section, where the investigative focus is on cases such as identity theft and online child exploitation. Senior Investigator McNary is also a 17 year veteran of the US Coast Guard Reserve, assigned to the US Coast Guard Investigative Service (CGIS), Resident Agent Office Los Angeles/Long Beach as a Reserve Special Agent. CGIS is the criminal investigative arm of the US Coast Guard. Senior Investigator McNary holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Purdue University, and Specialty Certificates in Computer Crime Investigation and Identity Theft Investigation from the POST-Robert Presley Institute of Criminal Investigation.
